When you remember making Christmas wreaths out of folded, stapled, and spray painted IBM computer cards.
Oh my God! I remember using both of those items.... used to get up early, wash my hair and tie it is rags and then go back to sleep with the cap on my head.....wake up in an hour, hair would be dry, untie the rags and voila - instant waves.......
as for the IBM computer cards - we used to have to proof those when I worked at the university. Old time keypunch operators.......and if the output wasn't correct - we would have to collect the cards from the operators and start looking for the error.... ugh!!
You remember having to go through a switchboard to make a phone call.
You remember being one of the first families to get a phone...and an indoor toilet!!!
