I have a Meseca saddle with crupper, breastcollar, pad, girth and stirrups for sale.

If anyone is interested ...please let me know.

Or if you know where I should post/list the saddle, please let me know.

Thanks!

Excellent! I use snaffles on my paso's, they are trained to respond softly and yield laterally to soft pressure. I also practice the wild horse (natural) trim on my guys and don't have any issues with founder, or lack of gait because of angle. I have a pair of hoof boots to use on gravel if necessary.

My only American friend in Miami in the Paso fino business commented, "Things are getting better in the paso breed it seems. Alotta trainers using boots and snaffle bits on their horses!" Paso Fino (World) Spectrum Show was held in Miami this past weekend.

Check out Kuda store or Sycamore creek for columbian saddles. I have a Mesace which is a columbian and it is quite comfortable and fits my small gelding who is barely 14 hands and all of 800 lbs and my slightly bigger mare who is 14.2 and larger in the barrel.

Hi Karen, right now I'm using a light western saddle, made by American Saddlery. The skirt is 24" long & he has such a short back that it's too long. I've been looking around on the internet for something else, maybe a Colombian Paso saddle. A friend of mine rides her Paso's in a flex tree endurance saddle, I cked out some of those & they are too pricey for me.

Hey I have a question for you both? What type of saddle do you use on your paso?

Well he is beautiful, same colour as all my Paso's. They do love to go.. I still have to work hard on walking in a calm manner in my mare, my gelding on the other hand does well at walking in a calm manner, but likes to run... as soon as you let him, he tries to take the bit and go... fast, home.LOL gotta be a barrel racer to hang on..

I just LOVE this horse, but he does have alot of GO GO GO! Since we are still learning about each other I've only ridden in the round pen. We are working HARD on walking in a nice calm manner. I plan on using him for trail riding, hopefully by summer we can hit the hills. He's my profile picture, here's another of him.
