2009 OEF Photo Contest

Have you taken a really nice photo and thought to yourself that it would make a great front cover of WHOA!? The OEF is running our Annual Photo Contest so if you answered yes to this question then the OEF would like the opportunity to use your photograph. We are looking for special photographs that gracefully capture ‘the horse’ in each of the four seasons (winter, spring, summer and fall) to be used as OEF publication cover photos.

The best photo from each season will receive a prize and grace a cover of WHOA! while the grand prize photo will be used as the cover photo of the 2010 Ontario Horse Directory & Planner. Seasonal photo submissions should not be discipline specific (no tack or riders).

In addition to the seasonal horse photos, we are always looking for action and riding shots for various promotional materials. The photos submitted that best represent the different disciplines will each be awarded a prize as well. Please remember that safety comes first - if you capture riders/drivers, they must be wearing safety helmets and proper footwear.

All photos must be original prints or digital photos in jpeg format minimum 600 dpi. All photos submitted become property of the Ontario Equestrian Federation and will not be returned. Photo credit will be given. All Runners-up will be used throughout various OEF publications and promotional materials.
