I am in the USA and down here in Florida is can get very hot. Leather girths with stud guards can be uncomfortable for my horse in this heat. In the jumper classes he really tries hard and his training continues to progress but he seems less comfy in the stud girth during hot weather. It is not that flexible either even tho he jumps the same with or without tack. The sheepskin cover seems to help with comfort but it is quite heat enhancing.

i found this girth

Does anyone have experience with it? I will use it only if it is safe.
Thanks in advance.

i think it would be fine if it was elastic on both sides as if it only has it on one side it can hurt you horses back
How would it hurt a horse's back?
I like it.. looks comfy and breathable, probably more so than a leather one...
It's a great girth. I fully endorse it! It's really flexible, and though you'll still find sweat marks in very hot weater or during extra hard work, it's much more breathable than standard stud guard type girths.
this girth looks great for Warm weather,
I live In Canada and although it doesn't get to hot as in Florida we have something similar

not as good looking but they work great, and there really nice for girth sensitive horses as well!
It looks like a nice girth, definatly looks comfertable, but not sure if it would be suitable for the climate your taking about. It really dosent mention anything about it being breathable.

Here is something I found:

Take a look at it, the ratings from people who have bought it look good.
Looks like a great girth! The airflex detail should help out a lot.
I live in Florida too and this looks like a great solution. I've found girths made of similar material, but none with the stud guard feature. I'd certainly give this a go!
