Is this acceptable in the modern world? Rodeo in the prison system...

I cannot say just how disturbed I am by the video in the link. There is a petition in the UK to try to stop the people who condone this violence and torture of animals by some of the most brutal criminals in the US. Is there anything being done in America to stop this from happening???

I'm scared to watch it.... maybe I'll get braver after the afternoon wears on.... I'm sick of animal brutality.... we have a football start here whose name i shall not mention because I am sick of hearing about him.... he brutalized a huge amount of dogs in a dog fighting circuit, came back after 2 years in jail, some said he did his time... and now he gets to play pro football, be famous and make millions of dollars... I think he should clean the stands at the football games and lick toilets... but that's just me.

That's quite disturbing!! I don't really understand why prisons have "SPORTING EVENTS" anyway. It's appalling what they did to that horse with the two broken legs!! Surely that is a criminal offence!! Was anyone prosecuted ?
