Hi all! I am thinking about adding an Andalusian to my stable. How would you describe their character and temperament? Are they an intelligent breed? Are they hot, sensible, lazy, thick skinned, forgiving, or how are they to be described? Thanks!

Hi everyone, I have a new book out that teaches kids the basics of riding dressage. One of the horses in it is a half Andalusian mare, and the horse in the book is based on a real horse. It is called The Little Red Riding Book and it is a fictional story with lots of educational information. No, unfortunately I do not own an andalusian and I have never had the opportunity to ride one...

I just thought I'd say that I think Andalusians are one of the most beautiful and graceful breeds of horse!
