The video community for horse people everywhere

This is the most stupid question on earth, I think - but seeing as I am only fifteen and have never really had a horse that looked good in them or needed them for the type of riding I was doing on them UNTIL NOW - I don't know how to put them on?

So how do you put them on? I was at a Charlotte's Saddlery Shopping Excursion and got a bit carried away and bought a set of hot pink Polo wraps. I don't think I'll ever need them for Hunter, I don't know if I can even use them in the Hunter class or Flat/Equitation class, but I just thought she'd look so adorable in them... Three months later - they are still in their packaging because I was too embarrassed to ask my trainer how to put them on.

So the questions are.. How do you put Polo Wraps on? Can your horse wear them in Hunter or Flat Classes?

Thank you so much!!

Glad you asked before attempting! Wraps and bandages that are applied incorrectly can do alot of harm. Rather than trying to explain, I suggest you purchase the book, USPC Guide to Bandaging Your Horse. If you can't find it locally, you can go to www.ponyclub.org to their bookstore. Under the search guide, type in bandaging. It has great illustrations and covers not only polos, but all types of bandages. It is an inexpensive book and quite valuable in terms of information!
