You would have missed the birth anyway Ann.  We pulled the cam long before the vet arrived.  We knew something was wrong and we felt it was best.  I'm so relived.

OMG!! What a beautiful filly!! So sorry you had all that worry & drama once again, nerves must be pretty frayed by now!

Though I've been watching hourly for the last few days, missed the birth of course - sod's law......

Both mother & baby look just wonderful - Congratulations all round. xx

Little May is beautiful - these little ladies cant be any good for your blood pressure! Sooooo glad you had the experience and the knowledge to make this have a happy ending :)
I know they cant all work out, but it must be so rewarding knowing this wouldnt have worked out unless you were there - Makes you guys hero's in my book :)

Cam #2 - Precious and her filly, Affirmation "May"

Filly was breech.  Thank God we knew something was wrong and had the presence of mind to call our vet.  We kept walking her until she got here and when she went in she said, 'It's breech and it's a tangled mess."  I thought for sure that the filly was dead.

She got it out quickly and we are blessed with a stunning tiny bay filly.

The can has been cut as they are walking her and waiting on a vet to check her out. As of right now all is ok.

That is Dash.  He is about the dumbest cat we have ever had.  He has been thrown across the stall by the mares and he goes right back.  Some of the mares like him, but obviously Precious is not a cam lover and he doesn't know enough to stay out.

I have some important meetings this morning so someone will foal or whelp for sure.  grrrr. LOL

Laurie, you made me laugh outloud -thanks so much.  That was great.  Those little horse balls can be a pain too because they go right through the fork sometimes.  No environmental statements here LOL  hehe

So she did read the book?  I've been tempted to tie cookies to it so she'll pay attention to it.

This is Calypso's 2nd litter.  She had four last year and two did not make it - they were extremely different in size and we had necropsys done to ensure it wasn't a genetic fault, which it was not.

man, watching you scoop poop with one hand almost makes me wish i had a mini. when my fjord dumps, i have to file an environmental impact statement. it's usually a two scooper and he does it as far away from the bucket in the arena as he can LOL.....

i keep watching precious late at night......yawn. and she always looks like she's ready to go, and in the morning? well, there she is again. last night i watched her read the book and lie down, so i was SURE it was time....
