Maureen, my body agrees, but my surgeon doesn't.  He said I am clear and I am to walk 2 miles a day.  So I have joined Shannon's gym and every morning at 5 am I am up and at the gym by 5:30.  We walk every other day and do weights the alternate days.  It was tough the first two days to go from nothing - keep your feet up - to walk 2 miles.  I was only able to do one mile each day but now I am up to 2 and could do more if I had the time.  We are walking in Color Me Rad next Saturday - it's 3.3 miles and I feel assured I'll be fine.  I may sleep the remainder of the day, but I'll be fine.

Betty, Maybe did great - she was Reserve Grand in Youth and 3rd in her mare class.  She was robbed in her class, but such is life.  I liked 1st place, but Reserve....not my cup of tea, but then I'm not the judges.  LOL  It's a horse show.

Kahceeno took 9th in a huge class, so I'm pleased.  He doesn't have the extreme front end to compete against the shetlands, so I'm actually very tickled that he placed at all.  He's a beautiful colt, but just isn't the same cut as the ones that won.  And there were some nice horses out there.

All in All we are very pleased with all the placings.  Anastacia is not a show horse - at least this year she wasn't.  She pinned her ears and said...well I can't say what she was probably thinking. LOL

So glad all is well. I was wondering if you snuck out later. How did Maybe and Kahceeno do? I was at my conference and missed them. I would have loved to see them, especially Kahceeno since I didn't get to see him at all.

Please take it easy on the cleaning. Insides takes a bit more healing than outside and the cleaning will wait for you.

I was actually at Nationals.  We snuck out and surprised everyone there.  It was a last minute kinda thing once we got clearance from the surgeon.  I am home now and so glad to be back in action, cleaning, etc.  Yeah!

Hi Heather. I hope all is well at your house. I am missing you and didn't see you on the chat for the Nationals. I know you are busy. Hope that is all it was. How did Kahceeno do this year and how about Maybe?

Heather I have noticed your absence on the chat and am hoping that doesn't mean you have had another setback health wise. Take care. I'll be off until Sunday now to go to my conference. So sorry I have to miss Kahceeno and the rest of Maybe's showing especially.

Well now I am getting "You have reached a page that is no longer in existence or has been moved" when I try to watch the nationals. Hope it is fixed for tomorrow. When I click on the live streaming on that page I get a long list of rehearsal's. You got to be kidding I would book there when things keep going south with it.
