This page is dedicated to watching the mares on Mare Stare, starting with the mini donkeys at Half Ass Acres. But be warned....it is highly addictive.

Again I am sorry, I would be the eyes but I am only fifteen and I am homeschooled, Highschool for my family has already started, but I am praying.(I'm a Luhteran) n_n I'll be watching.
So sorry this is all happening at once. I do hope your surgery goes well since that is after all the most important even though we really value the horses here. I will be gone tomorrow afternoon, but will surely keep my eyes open when I am here. Wishing you all the best.
praying 4 a successful surgery and foaling, sorry I will not be able to be the 'eyes'
Ace is finally making changes and has been moved to Cam #1. She has gone from 3 or 5 (hard to read) on the refractometer to 15. That's a huge jump and usually a good indication of foaling. However, she is only 6.8 on the Test strips.
Now - we have a huge problem. I have major surgery tomorrow and Shannon would really like to be with me as I really need someone to drive me home. However, alot will be determined by this mare. They sure suck at timing don't they??? ARRGGHH I wanted to deliver her - this is MY mare. Sigh...I knew she'd do this....anyway. We will really need eyes tonight and tomorrow. My surgery is at 7 am EST.
Shannon's Number is 803-466-0216. My number will NOT be available until probably Saturday. All eyes are greatly appreciated!!!
I will probably put Ace on cam #1 tonight. She is at a stand still so we are putting her out on the grass durng the day.
Ace is in on cam 2
When will Ace be brought in? All I've been seeing is Precious and adorable Latigo.
LOL, Heather Troglauer, you need to give Latigo some sun glasses while she sits back and reclines in the sun. She look so cute
Wow, Latigo is actually laying down looking exhausted. Way to go Mama
PS don't know if horses have false labor but if they do that was one doozy of a false labor. I have seen your horses deliver with a lot less signs of distress than that was.
