Well, Precious and Chanel are both waxed and testing ready.  i swear....LOL We gave Dancer the boot so Wishy could stay in.  Blessed Be is testing 24 on the refractometer, but only 7 on the strips.....Raven shared nothing tonight....

Could be an interesting evening.

While we are waiting Ill tell you a little story about what my son said regarding this page.

Jeremiah is 10 and very smart for his age.  So when I first started watching Mare Stare, Particularly  Muligans Run, he sits down next to me and asked what Im doing.  I explain "watching mini mares ready to foal"  He looks at me and say " and this amuses you?"  He cannot grasp watching horses standin around for hours on end....

By the looks of the isle on cam 2, things are gearing up for a fun weekend.... let's just hope that Heather and Shannon can get some rest in between all these births....  we just have to hope that they keep their cameras handy to take pictures so that we can see the newest of the Mulligans Run Miniature foals.....

Precious is on full-screen now.I'm switching back and forth.

Chanel might not wait until tonight to foal, although it's generally the case. Do you get many that foal in the daytime, Heather?

I don't believe it. Chanel lays down and you'd swear that a birth was imminent as she pants and strains. Then...she casually gets up, waddles over to her hay, and starts eating AGAIN.

Well, another shocking change.  Precious (my heart - her and Ace are my favs) was due the same date as Temptation but hasn't had much of a bag.  This morning while feeding I walked by her stall and noticed she was steadily kicking her belly.  So I wondered....and when checking her bag I found it to have doubled in size overnight....she gave me some really sticky milk that tested 6.8 and 24 on the refractometer.  Bear in mind....Chanel is testing 6.2 and 26 on the refractometer.

Now...enter problem #2 - Precious is best friends with Dancer (my daughters heart and 2nd favorite mare).  Honestly if you separate them you have they will fret themselves silly.  So I had to put Dancer in the stall next to Precious and take down a board so they can see each other - just like last year. 

These girls are going to drive me to drink!!
