Wonder why she (Ace)was so different last night. I kept an eye on her from about !0:30 'til 2 (your time) She did not eat the whole time. She kept curling her lip back and walking in circles stopping about every 2 rounds to paw the ground Usually at the gait. towards the end she kept looking behind her. She just looked generally very uncomfortable and restless. Then about 1:30 she just sort of settled down. Still not eating and if you look at her hay from this morning it is more windblown than eaten. Glad she is OK whatever ailed her last night.

Horses are out on the grass today.  Ace is still testing far off.

Yes, I am thinking tonight she will deliver, (months of wathcing 'The Incredible Dr. Pol have helped this theory)

Ace is not her usual placid hay eating self. she is pacing and pawing the ground while she longingly looks over the gate. could tonight be the night?

Latigo is so cute. Watching her nurse, she nurses for a few seconds and then she is off again. on, off like a doggone light switch. She reminds me of my little sister who does the same thing. Latigo is such a joy to watch, brings a smile to all my face every day. How is Ace coming along. She showing signs of anything yet?

A friend and I have been watching with delight as Latigo becomes more independent. We giggled through her many attempts to get Precious to go out with her, "Mommy, PLEASE stop eating and take me out--I'm BORED!!!"

Night before last, Latigo stood in the doorway and finally took a few tentative steps into the night alone.

This morning I tuned in, first, to see her heckling Momma to go out. Then I had to do a little work, and when I checked back, I saw Latigo running like a flash back and forth, back and forth, outside the stall's back door. HAHAHA!

What pure joy she is!

Just noticed precious chasing bugs. I guess the fans could also work to keep the bugs at bay.

Easy to get addicted to fans in the heat. when it cools off they loose their appeal.

Well, inform them that the fans are addicted to them, especially little Latigo, the little cutie, is Latigo mischevieous and a handful Heather?

I think they are getting addicted to the fans.  Precious and Latigo never seem to leave.
