Well, as you can see we have done the stall shuffle again.  Temptation and Adele got the boot to the other barn since Eve and Tribute are in the herd again.  That leaves us with one empty stall and a shufffle.  All physical signs indicate that Chanel will be next.  Her bag is HUGE, her milk is like syrup, her vulva is swollen and she is miserable.  We moved her to Stall #1 because I hate the mats in the others stall, and the camera is better (in my opinion) on stall #1.

Raven is progressing, she is giving us milk and she is testing 7 on the strips.  We don't get enough yet to test on the refractometer.

Wishy is 12 on the refractometer and 6.8 on the test strips.

Blessed Be surprised us by being 7 on the strips but 15 on the refractometer.

Are you beginning to see that there really is no rhyme or reason to any of this?  we just run around aimlessly testing, cleaning, feeding, loving and ultimately waiting. LOL  Oh well....such is foaling time.

the mare's dinner time or Heather and Shannon's dinner time???? the mares seem to be always eating... so it must be Heather and Shannon you are talking about....

One thing we can count on...no Mulligan's  Run mare foals   BEFORE dinner time.

Betty, you must know that a foal will come when "it" is ready... going that far over last year for Blessed Be must have been that the foal was a little slower developing inside the mommy.  This year Blessed may just surprise us all and be next.  I have not seen Raven to day.... I wonder if Heather is keeping her isolated where she is a maiden mare, and you never know what to expect with a maiden.... just my thoughts.... 'nuff said..

I have been looking and by last years record Blessed Be has a while to wait yet. She foaled at about 351 days. that gives her a little time yet.I had noticed the full moom too Heather and was thinking there is a foaling fleury in the works. do get some rest. (when she asks in between all the chores etc.)

Oh honey...look at our expecting page.  www.mulligansrun.com  - click on expecting.  LOL  Yes, I have to update, but that will give you a guide.

I've just been watching Adele. She says,

"I love my mom, I love my barn, I love to run, I love to play, and whoo-hoo, I love LIFE!"

...and where have you been hiding Precious???? Not to mention, Dancer, Pumpkin, Ace and Spice. This field is bigger than I envisioned. It just keeps getting bigger and better. LOL

We don't want a bumpy ride--a smooth and thrill-packed ride would be great.

Geez, I almost feel like you guys should have a "betting" pool....lol

Oh I think it will definitely be Chanel, Wishy, then a toss up between Raven and Blessed be...but we have Precious due yesterday, Dancer, Pumpkin, Ace and Spice following close behind.  Hang on - it's going to be a bumpy ride. LOL
