This page is dedicated to watching the mares on Mare Stare, starting with the mini donkeys at Half Ass Acres. But be warned....it is highly addictive.

"Must eat, now must sleep, now must run and run and run, now must eat, now what will I do in the next minute?" Let's do it all over again. Must eat......"
Heather, do you breed these little mares live cover or AI, and do you ultrasound them or are they too small for that?
Heather
Thank you for the replay of the birth of Tribute. How exciting! Second best thing to actually being there.
Precious little boy!! congrates on another beautiful Mulligan baby!!
'Go fast, turn left!' I think he may be a 'mini' race horse by the way he is ripping around the stall!
LOL sorry for those that missed the foaling. We have MANY more to come. Cam #2 has wishy and Chanel on it and Blessed Be really should be in before Wishy.
Katherine - we put straw over the shavings because we don't want the foal to inhale the shavings. I had a good friend whose foal inhaled shavings to the point that he got pneumonia - his lungs were full in the x-rays. So - we used straw over the shavings.
We used to use cardboard which was great, but we can't get it anymore
Eve is such a good mom...i have notied her many times grooming her boy and checking on him....so wonderful...:)
