How about giving Foal Lac pellets and just restrict baby from Mom during the day. Also Alfalfa pellets can put great weight back on Mom in a short time.

Yes, Anastacia and her mom.  She's not bigger than her mom but close.  She really needs to be weaned - mom has dropped alot of weight, but they will be going to Florida and I hate to wean and then transport.  Hoping we can get them down there soon.

I am waiting to see the last 2 foals come. soon we will be close for both of them. Hope everyone at Mulligan's Run Farm and on this thread is having a good summer so far.
