Bumbles appears to be in early labor now. We will let her 'clean out' a little more and then move her into the foaling stall. We want her clean straw to be soiled as least as possible.

Bumbles now has snow white milk but her stool is firm. She will probably foal tonight or early tomorrow morning.

When they go into labor we put them in the foaling stall by themselves She now has white milk so it won't be long..

Do you let the donkeys foal outside or do you shut them in when they get near to foaling time? I got really excited this afternoon when your cam cleared up for a while. It even showed two of them in color, but now it's back to blurred again.

I hope it can be fixed soon. I am wishing you the best luck either way, Dayle.

Bumbles has cloudy milk as of 9am on 1/12/14. She is holding out to foal on the full moon!

Bumbles milk is still clear as of 5:15 pm but bag is firm and teats are engorged.

I think she just stepped outside for a drink of water. She is back in the upper right hand corner eating hay out of the manger. YOu can only see her legs.  If she lays down anywhere inside or outside you will be able to see her. There are a couple of blind spots if they are standing but not if they lay down so just know what if you can't see her she is standing in the corner inside or outside. It is pouring rain here now and Bumbles is standing quietly watching it rain. She is resting up to foal tomorrow night maybe. I expect to see white milk when we check her later today. Thank you for helping us watch. Also Flirt appears to have made a complete recovery.
