Well it is normal for ours.  Tess will lay down, push, eat straw, push, eat, push, eat.....ours very rarely go off feed.

Cinnamon should foal tonight.  She is testing ready.  She always makes really quick changes so don't blink.

Cinnamon seems the one most uncomfortable~rubbing herself about the stall and more restless. Maybe she will be first and soon.

As you can see we have had a change in the stall line up.  When we went to the barn this morning Cinnamon was laying down outside.  Cinnamon does NOT lay down outside often because she's not an overly trusting mare.  We knew something was up, especially when we walked right up to her with the dogs running around before she even attempted to rise.

We brought her in and fed her and checked her over.  She has a large bag, almost as big as Tess, her milk is thick and sticky and she is testing almost ready.  She is known for making very quick changes so she will be monitored closely and she is in for the day.

We checked her due dates and we had originally gone by her last time with Dream...not a breeding, but in with him and showing signs of heat.  Apparently she took on her first breeding and still showed heat, (like Miss Kitty).  Our girls all seem to be hussies.  Sigh.  So...her due date is Monday, February 7.  And I do believe she will be next to go.  She loves her foals and is an excellent mom.

Sadie will be moved to Eve's stall, which is a "waiting" stall, and Jack will be off cam.  Time to focus on our girls in waiting.

Yes, Tess should go next.  Wendy still has no bag...nothing, and today is her due date.  She needs to progress or she'll get the boot.  Pearl is getting a bag and I think she'll go early.  We're trying to monitor and cover everyone.  This could be fun LOL

Hi Heather, any new guess as to when and who will foal next...my guess is Tess by the looks of her and she seems to be slowing down.
