I have no doubt that you guys will take the very best care,as you do all your horses. Anyone would be very very lucky to have one of your horse's,I can attest to that first hand,I would recommend you to anyone!!!!! You guys are GREAT!!!!!!

YEAH!!! She's out of the closet...Cat's out of the bag ... LOL

Pumpkin is a wonderful mare (which you know) and I pray the foal will be everything you have hoped for. We will provide the very best care for both of them. :)

Donna, there are indeed four puppies, however the little male is very small compared to the others. There are actually two very small pups and then the larger 2 # puppies. They range in size from 2#+ to Dory at 1# and then the little male.

The two smaller ones are developmentally behind and they are pushed out of the way by the larger pups. We have been monitoring weights 2x a day and we are increasingly worried about the littler ones, so with our vets direction and suggestion, we are tube feeding the two smaller ones. And because they are smaller they have more issues regulating their temp. If I keep the box warmer then the mom doesn't stay in there and the two older ones cry. It's easier for me to hold the little male in my shirt or in a towel to keep him warm.

So, when you see one or two missing...that's why. They are either being cared for or socialized.

Hayley, Breeze and Pumpkin should be next. Breeze has the most physical and testing signs, but Pumpkin is extremely uncomfortable and may surprise us.

If you see a mare on cam with two foals...that's Tonja. Tonja took in a rejected foal and is raising them both. You can see her story so far at www.mulligansrun.com/tonja.php
