I'm not familiar with what to give horses but there is a couple of people on Barnmice that seem to be more educated . We have a local chiropractor that is wonderful with several kinds of alternative therapy. She does chiro, acupuncture, homeopathy and muscle testing. Many were very skeptical at first but most if not all are coming around as they see more and more of her 'unusual' therapies work. I got started with alternatives a few years ago when I thought I was headed on a dead end road way too young and the traditional doctors weren't helping at all and I knew ladies that were getting good results so I gave it a try and month after month just kept feeling better. Then I got Cash and that helped immensely too. Being active and happy works wonders! I also had a situation where one of my cats got terribly sick. The traditional vet said to do Liver surgery or she'd die and didn't hold much hope for the surgery to be successful The kitty lived many many years after taking her to alternative doctor that put her on some homeopathic meds to detox her system. Very cool. The alternative doctor said she had a severe case of food poisoning which is probably why the traditional doctor called it 'liver damage' Food poisoning could really damage the liver. Alternative remedies are used much more in the European countries, especially homeopathy. When it works and it often does, it's much safer then traditional meds. When used properly it has virtually no negative side-effects and it's usually much much cheaper.

There is F skaggs. We have a barn alarm that will signal a foaling. www.marestare.com/barnalarm - open that page and keep it open. Make sure your sound is turned on.

I wish there was some kind of alarm that went off when a mare was to foal... I will wake up and have 20 emails on my phone from barnmice and I am thinking... Ahhhh I missed another one! lol
