She has turned into an exceptional mom for sure.  I am so happy!!  Yes, Jewel is nursing well but we have Dr. K coming today to do an IGG just to be certain.  We are nervous Nellies, for sure, but better safe than sorry.

Pearl is the best Momma! She scratches her butt and kisses the baby, scratches some more and kisses the baby. I see baby is nursing now, I can tell when they wag their tail just like dogs, the happiness. Pearl is a doting mom always sniffing and touching her baby, little Jewel will be sweet because she is loved so much.

Shannon was just down there while I was helping customers on Mare Stare.  She said she's getting better but still doesn't have it.  Shan has gone to bed.  We feed pups again at 10 and will syringe her again at that time if she hasn't figured it out.

Vet feels she too may have been oxygen deprived since Pearl expelled the placenta along with the foal.  We will be syringe feeding her until she gets the hang of things.

was watching all morning and went for a walk came back and there she was...just couldn't wait for 15 minutes...lol She's beautiful and love her markings.

Little Jewel seems to be doing great. she is starting to show her spunk. That "jewel on her back sure is cute!

I don't quite understand it's purpose but I do like the fancy basket anchor for the pups. Must be feeding. I can't see them.
