At 3 a.m. Cinny's baby is sooo full of it and won't leave Mom alone. What a cutie. Glad the foaling turned out okay.
On the other hand Tess's baby is all sprawled out with not a care in the world.

I know. I watched. I was worried but excited at the same time that I got to see another foal.
I thought there was snow, I seen it on the outside cam.
That's a great name for him. I am just glad that he is alive and well. :)
Cinny looks very tired though, as if she had a rough time. But on cam it looked like it was easy for her.

I hope I am here to see Ace foal.

I will give you some San Diego warm weather! I want snow! :)

Another interesting foaling - yes we have SNOW on the ground and we are in South Carolina - it doesn't happen here like it has this year. We have never foaled in the snow....it's crazy.

We had a feeling Cinny would go tonight but hoped she'd hold off a bit longer. We have vaccinations today and that's alot for her to go through - plus the shot would have helped protect the foal.

When Cinny started labor she presented only a head. The front legs were back. It's so cold here that I have on 3 shirts and a jacket - so I couldn't get in far enough to find both legs. While I held the head back I told my daughter to get her jacket off and get ready to switch with me. She got in and pulled both legs forward and out he came.

He looks to e Palomino Pinto - he's fiesty and full of live. His name is Thorn - Mulligans Run Dreams Thistle N Thorn.

Cinny has been given as much pain meds as she can have and will hopefully be comfy soon.

I'm so glad you were able to join us in the stables. Watch Ace...she'll be next - soon.
