She is a winner everywhere she goes, and yes, she's still showing. My trainer won't let her come home. LOL

Charmaine, yes those are miniatures and exactly what we are breeding for....a miniature horse that looks like a big horse. not all our minis look that way but they produce that look which is what I want. Our stallion is creating some exceptional babies that are winning in the show ring and look like these.

Our site is http://www.mulligansrun.com We would love to have your visit the site. We just put up photos of the new babies on the expecting page and on the Foal page. Check out our 2009 foal page too - :)

Heather, are those miniatures in the photos below? They look like lovely arabians or Falabella's. Wow...can you send link to site? We have an arabian sweepstakes mare that was gifted to us, unfortunately it turned out her reproductive years where over. Now she will be a babysitter. Awesome mare and was never trained to ride, so that kinda sucks for her usefulness. But, sure has me on the hunt for another, as her babies by wb are phenomenal. Plus, I rode arabians a lot as a youth and have never owned a pb (well other than gifted mare, chuckle)..so guess it's a little old lady desire too. And Affair is more than lovely. Wish friend with 09 Reserve Canadian Champion arabian gelding, had campaigned him as stallion. I have a mare for him, chuckle. Thanks for sharing. I think those of us breeding, carefully, will see an increase in the marketplace in about 4 years. Many of the older premiere breeders have been retiring, and others bowing out, so it should shrink the nucleus, and up the quality. Of course, we need the buying market to regain it's confidence to buy those luxury products as well. I am positive.

Pat...have you had an opportunity to visit our site and see some of our World and National Champions?

Comment by Heather Troglauer on February 25, 2010 at 7:37am
Carefully Pat. :) Obviously the market is pretty poor right now, but I'm still selling horses...so alot depends on what you have. With the minis...it's different than with the largr horses = at least for me. I look for conformation and good conformational babies moreso than bloodlines. And with that said...there are alot of bloodlines I would avoid. :) I won't mention them here obviously....but will gladly discuss anything you want if you want to email me. Heather@marestare.com

Just be warned...they are addictive! You can't have just one ;)
