What a dark cloudy day!! You'd think it was evening.

This ws more like those mares across the fence are mine and don't you even think about claining them. He ran at the males neck arched and teeth bared like a stalion protcting his mares in a movie. Of course they are novices and ran for cover before he got to them. Adele did not go near the fence and was not part of it at all again.

Like seeing the mares on the other cam and am looking forward to hearing what your plans are for the future.

you hit the nail on the head.. The lighter one is probably Adele, the only filly in the group. Simon is still a stud and PT is gelded. Now, Shannon has been putting mares up around the barn to give me some action on cam and Marcos is very protective of his group so he may be trying to keep the young ones away from the shetlands.

I will have a big announcement on here soon. I need to get with Barbara first.

Seems like our "babysitter' always picks his 'fights" with the darker 2 foals. Is that because they are colts and the one with the white all along it's back is a filly.( Iam assuning this here because he seems to behave differently towards them. Never bothers the light one). Tonight it was because they were all 3 eying some horses across the fence and he wanted them to himself so he reached out to nip them and drove them both away. Didn't actually get a chunk because they ran for cover.

Raven is such good company. So calm and just lies down to rest. Now too bad it doesn't rub off on Tonja a little! But no, tonja would have to be really sick to be that peaceful. LOL

The two kicks were with just one leg and I don't know if they connected. (pretty close.) The issue was the water trough. The nip was over a bale section Marcos figured was his own. The colt ran and again he may not have gotten much but Marcos sure tried to nip him. He was standing so he could guard both the bucket and the hay at the same time.

Hmm might be time to move Marcos out of the brat pack.  He's just so good "normally" at babysitting.

Tonja is in because she isn't drinking and was acting "off" last night.  Raven is in to keep her company.

The gelding sure is testy this morning. Breaking a few babysitting rules I would think. He just kicked the one colt twice and tried to take a nip out of another one.

Lots of action in the barn today! Is it ultra sound day?
