What a beautiful mare Affair is.And no she is not too happy to be alone and inbut I am glad for the opportunity to see her with all her graceful lines and features.Just loving seeing show quality horses.

Sorry I set the cam to private for the owner.  Her request.  I have cam one back up with Affair, one of our show mares, on cam.  she is NOT happy to be in, but the vet is coming to do an ultrasound and pull some blood for coggins.  She will have to deal with one day in.

She seems more settled today but yesterday I was trying to figure out if you were watching a visiting mare for an out of season foaling or what,  she acted so much like she was in labor. I figured maybe it was just a case of colic or something and was glad to see her doing better today.

I sure want to see that little one be OK too.

That would be Raven. She foaled earlier this year, left for Florida and was rebred and now is back.  She has been uncomfy, has loose stool and we are treating and monitoring as she is in foal and we want that little one to stay put until it's time.

Eyes and comments on her actions are appreciated.  The vets are watching.  (owner's vet and my vet).

Whoever is inside sure has been uncomfortable and unhappy. Right now she looks better than yesterday. Hope she is soon able to return to her "friends".

Yes that should be interesting. I see you don't just have one or two maidens either. Good to see some activity here again! Is the mare inside TGIF? It looks like her matronly figure and her color!

Sorry Pat, just saw this.  I am pulled in too many directions. LOL

Absolutely - Dream is still our main man here.  We just didn't work really hard on breeding, and we were exceedingly lazy this year and just put Johnny in with the girls.  We don't normally do that without keeping track of dates, etc...well...Spring will be interesting, for sure.  Sigh...we have maidens and no dates...fun times, right?
