This page is dedicated to watching the mares on Mare Stare, starting with the mini donkeys at Half Ass Acres. But be warned....it is highly addictive.

I very much appreciate that you are watching. Unfortunately the cams aren't in an area where the majority of the horses are. I will look into extending some cables a bit further, although sometimes watching the mares be...hmm..."grouchy", can be disheartening. LOL. Our mares are relatively quiet but sometimes they get crabby like us and decide to be mean. Or they can just be ill mannered all the time like Vicki. Okay rambling...
Our Nationals show will be coming up on 9/6 through 9/16. We have three horses showing - a yearling and two babies from this year. Unfortunately our best filly, Suri, died two weekends ago of an anerusym. (spelling) There will be many Mulligans Run and or offspring from our stallions there. It's very interesting to watch and the classes are HUGE. I will post a link when we get closer so you can enjoy.
Maureen....HUGS....If there is anything we can do, please let us know. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Hey ladies,
I drop in every now and again as well, just for the peace of it all. My father is now in hospital so he now has my full attention. He is 90 years old and not in good shape, I'm afraid.
I look in every day, Your little ranch is peaceful and happy. Sometimes the foals are running around and sometimes everyone is just calm. Opportunities to watch a bunch of foals shenanigans are rare. Thank you for the opportunity.
Good evening Betty. That would be Pearl. Same color, just smaller. Pearl is in foal for next year, but has an upper respiratory infection so getting meds twice a day. It's just easier to have her in.
Tonja still has her baby until the end of this month.
We have confirmed six in foal for next year. 5 by our Stallioon, Johnny and one by our stallion Heir who we recently sold. We have one mare in Florida that was recently bred and we will have her checked soon.
Thank you for continuing to watch.
Is that Tonja on the lower right? If so I guess her foal got weaned. How are the shows going?
LOL she was very quiet earlier, but now it's thundering, another nemesis for her.
Poor Tonja! so deprived, no showers or mud puddles for a while. She is fed and in the shade but hoeses can't think of that. Glad her filly is not in worse shape. Hope it heals soon.
Tonja is not one to keep stalled, but her filly coliced and injured her leg - or vice versa. We have to keep it wrapped and dry which means Tonja has to stay in. She'll have to deal.
She's doing her fair share of agitating. Pawing and helping ma circle.
Poor little baby it's so tight in there she can't lay down and her ma is a circler.
