Tonja doesn't seem too thrilled about ehr new accommodations. Tally must be readu to wean soon too. She sure has grown. Nice to get a close up of them. Did she put her foot where it didn't belong? Looks like she is taped up/bandaged. Hope it is just a little scratch. Wishing you well. how is it going at the shows? Is Casino doing well?

We are very excited about Johnny.  He is not only a stunning stallion in his own right, but he's a Superior Sire, meaning he has produced enough babies that have received their Hall Of Fames (another feat just for them to do that).  Very exciting.

Shannon and I were talking this morning and we are thinking that Pearl may be in foal to Heir.  We have never seen her back in heat...so....we may have that as well.  We'll see. :)

I am saddened to hear the mares did not take and about your other issues. I will continue to be a fan of Mulligan's Run Farm and to watch for new developments here. Hope you get some really nice foals from "Johnny" and will be watching to see how they turn out next year.

It's better to have fewer things to worry about for a while.

Most of them Tracy.  I am currently going through a divorce (yeah) and some personal restructuring, so we have bred only a few for next year.   They will all be "Johnny" foals - this is a first for us, and all Shetland/AMHR foals....again, another first.  At this point it looks like possibly only five....I don't know that we will have any Heir or Dream foals.  Everyone came back into heat and we didn't rebreed them.  Only the ones in with Johnny seem to be settled, but we may be wrong....who knows. :)

Have your producing mares been rebred yet?

I was thinking that the other day Betty.  Seems like it's too hot where this camera is.  I will have to work on putting up something different for you.

I love those lazy, hazy .......days of summer. Sure wish I could see a horse now and then but then I guess they're as fond of the shade as I am.

I am anxious to know how he does too. He looks so regal like he's a real pro. will he show this year? When does the show season start or is it already in progress?
