This page is dedicated to watching the mares on Mare Stare, starting with the mini donkeys at Half Ass Acres. But be warned....it is highly addictive.

Dayle has been kind enough to allow us to peek into her barn this foaling season since I have no babies arriving at my farm this year. Here is her lineup... 1) HHAA Bumbles - Due January ??, 2014 (separated from jack Feb. 24th, 2013)2)…Continue

Just checking in and saw the new mommies with their foals. Adorable!!!
G/Annie You get these rare treats here by chance. I happened to be watching when the ladies each brought a horse in from opposite ends ot the fence and they went on their hind legs and spared off briefly a couple of times. Of course this was controlled by the ladies on the halter and rope. They are gorgeous animals.
Betty,
The pasture looks desserted today, and I keep checking. Not a horse or foal in sight. I'd love to see some of the foals and how they must have grown. Stallions would be a huge treat. I will miss seeing the foaling season. It went by so fast this year. I hope Heather has a successful year with sales.

I love the pics but one can't see near as much as one would like to on them even though I sometimes set my screen at 150 in an effort to see a bit more clearly.
I have to admit the second horse did act like a stallion just didn't think you would dare put two stallions together like that. Just another evidence of how well trained they really are.
Oops sorry about that. I recognized the first as a stallion but the second was a bit more docile although by all means ready for a fight. They are both very attractive. I like to see them too.
Those were two of our stallions. We like to show them off. :)
Tonja is progressing but not close enough to be stuck in on cam. Soon...
That was an interesting little rodeo we just had a bit ago. I gather the "lady" was not too interested in her "suitor".
LOL taking a well needed day off.
Then Tonja will be our last for this foaling season. Aw...how I will miss all the action and late nights. It's been a very busy season for you guys. Can you sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labour, (excuse the pun) or are you all still too busy for that? I expect the latter is true.
Too bad about Vicki. Looking forward to onja's foal and whatever else you can share with us here as far as shows etc.. all the best for the rest of the season.
