This page is dedicated to watching the mares on Mare Stare, starting with the mini donkeys at Half Ass Acres. But be warned....it is highly addictive.

What a beautiful colt. Glad to hear that momma will be okay. Congratulations to all.
Poor Chanel here's wishing her a speedy recovery, the colt does have gorgeous markings!
Colt is HUGE. I'm shocked...sire is small, mom is small...I think she overcooked him. LOL He is covered with pawprints so we are guessing he's homozygous tobiano, but we'll see. He will definitely be color tested.
Chanel has been given pain meds but she's likely to be very sore. She had some small tears and he poo'd on the way out, so we may have to do antibiotics. We'll check with our vet when she wakes up.
Beautiful colt! Very pleased....
Well done and congratulations to Chanel and your beautiful Magic colt.
what a lovely surprise to wake up and see Chanels colt, was up watching her till 4.15 this morning, beautiful looking boy!! Congrats to all :-)
Loved the replay of Blessed Be's delivery. It doesn't matter how many times I see this, I'm still in awe of the miracle of life. Thanks Heather.
...and they all look a lot quieter and more comfortable than they looked last night.
They will come when they are ready and not a second before. Nature will win out!
Cam 3 is so much clearer today. Thank you for setting it up so well.Did anyone see the goat delivery on barn alarm today. That was a miracle all survived. Hope we never see one like that here.
