This page is dedicated to watching the mares on Mare Stare, starting with the mini donkeys at Half Ass Acres. But be warned....it is highly addictive.

Dayle has been kind enough to allow us to peek into her barn this foaling season since I have no babies arriving at my farm this year. Here is her lineup... 1) HHAA Bumbles - Due January ??, 2014 (separated from jack Feb. 24th, 2013)2)…Continue

I just saw someone throw hay into the hay rack with accuracy that I'd expect from a pro basket-ball player. Not a drop fell out. Well done!
Cheez relax, Im just a little embarassed and having fun, ive been around horses 30-+ years and Blessed Be had me totally fooled. I used to get paid to sit in barns and watch mares, I sure prefer this way..
We're just trying to bring some humour into the situation, Pat. Nobody is serious...just having some fun.
Blessed has been doing what I think Heather calls the "butt tuck"... so she must be making progress.
You people crack me up...... As if Heather knows the exact date that her mares will foal is like saying that the sky is pink.... She only can go by when they were bred, and as shown in previous years.... "due dates" are just an estimate.... after all, we have seen 2 new little ones, and I am sure we will see more... if you are tired of waiting, don't watch anymore.... is all I can advise....as for me... I continue to watch because of all the little antics each mare has all of their own....
You took the words out of my mouth, Teresa. I've been thinking, for awhile, that this is all a big SCAM. Don't tell Heather that we're on to her, and her fat roly-polies.
We'll humour her, and watch for a little while longer.
You better be careful what you offer. If I was a bit closer I might just up and do that. LOLSeriously we may go to Texas to visit relatives. That would bring us a little closer. But don't start worrying, it's mot liekly to go beyond loving your mares from a distance.
Betty, we have an extra room. Come on down and I will let you get to know each one on a one-on-one basis. LOL
What you don't have enough humor on your farm? You need a funny farm?LOL Seriously I feel for you . The waiting game can sure wear one out, and the psychological pressure it puts on one knowing the longer they wait the more hectic things will get.
I feel bad when they all foal at once because I don't get to know each one individually.
I knew it! It was all a scam to how many people you couild get to sit for hours and watch the mares.....LOL
