I am soooooooooooooooo tired. LOL  You haven't experienced my sleep typing yet have you?  No lie...I can sleep type and there is no telling what I will say.  I told a customer I loved them.....then told my moderators to scroll down to learn how to pee....you have no idea.  LOL  I sent an email to a customer that had so much gobbledy goop wording in it that they just replied and politely said, "I don't understand".  Bless their hearts.

For those not familiar with Blessed Be, her story was a heartbreaker last year.  Very sad....she had a beautful colt that had been oxygen deprived.  There was a very large rupture in the umbilical cord and it cut off his oxygen.  We kept him alive 3 days I believe....lived in the stall with him.  Very sad to finally let him go, but we knew it was the right thing.

I'll throw in my hat for Temptation. I think it's going to be close. Get rest Heather, you're going to need it...and thanks for the info on the test strips. That's really interesting.

I think the little paint is Blessed Be and I think you quite right to put her last. she went 351 days last year.I think Temptation will be first and have no opinion on the others.

I say, out of the five, Chanel will go first, followed by Temptation, Wishy, the black mare, and last, the little paint on Cam 2 on the bottom right corner...

Anyone one want to throw their guesses....just for fun!  :)

No worries Maureen.  We use the Foal-Time Test strips to check their milk.  It has different colored squares on it and they change as the mare gets closer to foaling.  So, the girls are getting close...with only 3 above ready.

We must just be patient. It'll all happen when ready and not before, no matter how many of us are anxiously awaiting the happy event. Probably everyone knows this, except me, but what is meant when you say three above ready. Please excuse my ignorance... I'm new to this.

We sometimes get caught unaware and we don't get the tails braided.  We prefer to braid as it keeps things out of the way.  The girls are testing the same...three above ready, but Eve never fully tested ready, so who knows :)

Heather said that this isn't necessarily a sign of anything as they sometimes continue to eat whilst foaling. Her tail isn't braided yet....perhaps this is a good indication that birth is not yet imminent. How about this Heather....Do you always braid the tails?

I agree with you Maureen, they are soothing  and also distracting from your problems,I know this first hand,  When I found Marestares 2 yrs ago I was recovering from 2 back surgery's, I ended up visiting Heather's farm and buying one of her colts.  I now have 10 mini's and 4 foals on the way!  So Chantal keep watching and my prayers are with you:)

Temptation sure seems to have lost interest in eating since this morning.
