Heather, for every complaint you get, there are tons of us out here who totally appreciate what you do and on behalf of us all, I thank you.

Wishy and her filly are on a private cam.  Wishy is a bit rough and we were getting complaints.  She is under our vets observation and ours as well.  All is well, but it's just easier to have her private.

Rebel isn't a very small mare and she's foaled out here before.  This filly has some issues.  She was a redbag with yet another hind leg coming. We scrambled to push her back in and we were successful in delivering her.

She has some leg issues that we are tending to now.  I'll keep you posted.

Welcome little black rebel with a cause... very nicely done by your attendents, Rebel.

I know my kid was on the ground in 15 min and up before the vet arrived at the 30 min mark. Gotta be able to keep up with the herd so you aren't someone's snack. It's amazing. Then you look at the non-precocial and they take FOREVER to deliver and mature.

I love baby mammals, they are just so darned cute. Tuned in the other day to see Candy galloping about in her stall. Cable TV's got nothing on that!
