Poor Precious!  I'm glad you don't have sound.  I'd jump in a  plane and sneak in and lay with her until she got her little baby.  Meanies leaving her all by herself!  Tell her not to worry.  "Company is coming" soon enough in the form of a needy little baby.  She'll be too busy to think about anything else. :)

Precious is testing the same this morning - 27 on the refractometer and 2 above ready on the foal time strips.  So we wait.
Pearl has the next largest bag so she gets to keep company with Precious who is not happy when we leave the stall.  Good thing we don't have sound.
Sadie and Susie are out around the barn for the first time today.  They are running and having fun....all alone :).
Tess & Jupiter, Cinnamon and Fortune and a yearling filly from last year, have all been introduced to the pregnant herd.  Everyone seems to be happy :)
Storms blowing through....bad weather everywhere.  Prayers that everyone stays safe.

Yes, her tail is multi-color. :)

Well at least she was sent to a great place. Seems she loves it.

I love her markings, different.

Is her tail 2 different colors? That is awesome if it is.

Lets hope we get a foal a day soon!

Precious is my heart.  She came here at 2 months old as an orphan.  Her mom was supposed to come with her, but got into the tack room and overate.  Her owner didn't get a vet and her stomach exploded.  They still brought Precious to us and she has been with us ever since.

She has done the same thing Wendy did and she went from NOTHING to a bag (small bag - but a bag) and testing 27 on the refractometer.  She is also testing 2 above ready on the foal time test strips.

These changes have us concerned because it's so quick. If we didn't check her twice a day we may have missed it.

So - Sadie and Susie got the boot to the other barn off cam.  Precious is full screen and the cam #2 had a barn full of other mares progressing.  We're goign to have a foaling frenzy.

Pearl is outside for the day.  We felt she needed a day on the grass.  Maybe it will help things progress for her.

Sadie and Susie have the entire run and can go in Eve's stall while Sadie's driew out.

For anyone interested - we have a Foaling Derby going on at Mare Stare.  It's not too late to pick the date that the MOST babies will be born.  That's babies - not horses but all babies.   Check it out.  Mare Stare Foaling Derby
