Honestly, I'm too squeamish to look.  Glad  Vicki accepted her back.  I know how she felt though. I don't like anything touching me either :D.

Red Bag Deliveries  Very graphic.

Yes, it was an awesome bonus!!   And yes, her mom learned to accept her. :)  She loves her foals now.

And how exciting was it to find out she was expecting?  That is considered a wonderful bonus, right?

Great, sweet story :).  Did mom eventually accept her or did you have to keep going to help?

Off to look up "red bag." I've heard you all refer to it but the term itself sounds gross so I never googled it. :/

Dancer was born solid black and has greyed out. She is considered a "fading grey".  She was the first baby born on our farm and the reason that Mare Stare exists.  Her mom is Vicki, our first mini (or Shannon's first mini) and we bought her not knowing she was in foal.  It was Vicki's first foal (age 9 !! ) and our first foaling.  Dancer came as a red bag and had we not researched we wouldn't have known what a red bag was or how to handle it.  Then Vicki decided she didn't want the foal to touch her.  So we had to go to the stall very hour to help the foal nurse.  Our first foaling was a challenge for sure, but a great learning experience.

Thanks!  LOOK at those stallions!!!  OMG.  And Snowflake is so so beautiful.  I just think she's the most gorgeous little horsie I ever did see :D.

Did someone say there are pics of the expecting mares here? I'm wanting to know if Dancer is all white or not. Are there pics of them? I can't find them.

Thanks
