Yes, they will go out together once we have things sorted and the weather breaks, which is now.  :)

Sadie and Wendi have made drastic changes and we are keeping them in on cam.  We expect foals before the weekend.

Heather - do you ever put the mares and foals out in groups so that the foals can play together?

Some people will tell you they foal early, some will tell you it doesn't matter.  We have seen both.

You can buy dog blankets - we have one with sheepskin inside and it's wonderful.  Not sure how we came across it, but it's one of my favorites.  The others we purchased online...I will have to find a site as the one we used to purchase from is no longer in business.  I do like miniexpress.com  Great people.

Do maidens usually foal early,I think I read that somewhere? I have 2 maidens in foal, one due the beginning of May,the other  1st of June.

Heather, what size blankets do you have on the foals and where do you get them?

Love watching the little ones!!!!

Well, maidens...be prepared for everything and anything.  They may foal without a bag, they may foal and not get milk, they may foal early.  Miadens are always are usually a challenge.

Is Fortune OK?  She's laying down and kind of twitching.  Is she sleeping and running in her sleep like dogs do?  I can't tell on my screen.  I can't make it out.
