wendy is not ready to foal yet.  She is a bit painful in one front foot so she lounges alot.  And yes, Snowflake is eating Tilly's feed :)

Is Wendy ready to foal now?

LOL I have not seen the puffs of smoke.  She is too funny.  I see she is resting very well too after her antics.  I love to see her run.

The filly in the photo below is a Palomino I believe.  The cam color can be deceiving.  If you go to http://latigo.marestare.com/forum/index.php?topic=23924.0 and scroll down to reply #11 it shows the sire of the foal :)

HI Folks. Sorry if I'm ignorant when it comes to foal coloration. On the other cam http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=owenstth a foal was born last night (all legs!) and it appears to be completely white. See pic. Aren't grey horses born dark grey or almost black. What color will the little foal be when it's mature?

Does anybody else see the puffs of "smoke" coming from Snowflake's nostrils after she tears around???

She is Fire Breathing Dragon! Hear Me Roar! :D

glad to hear she is doing alot better, so when you put her on solid foods is there a certain grain she will be getting and what kind of hay since she has issues with acidity? Or is she going to be getting supplements? Sorry to ask so many questions, this stuff is very interesting to me. Will Snowflake be about 3 or 4 mths of age before she leaves?
