my apologies if you are having issues loading the cam. We are having internet issues.  Hang in there...

No manure yet, but she seems comfortable at the moment.

Snowflake is a hoot - such a character  - into everything.  Poor Tilly - she will have her hands full for the next few months.

No sign of relief in the weather.  Things are warming up but will re-freeze this evening.  I would really like to get them out and about but there's nothing but ice everywhere.

So glad I live in SOUTH Carolina.. LOL goodness....this is supposed to be Northern weather - not Southern weather.

Really hope Tilly is getting better...I see her having colic hasn't put the little foal off it's feed. lol

Violet, Chantilly was receiving the same amount of hay and grain as before her foaling.  Her hay and grain has been removed, as of yesterday, because of her colic. This was by order of our vet. :)  We only provide water during a colic as we don't want to add to any impaction that may be going on.

Could it be because she isn't getting the  amount of hay she was getting before the filly's birth?  I would think that would be good for her.  Fiber?  But like I said I don't know anything about horses.
