Thank you.  I was hoping to get one of the blankets off of the filly "Snowflake" but she is still doing a bit of shivering so I wont' chance it.  We have 4 - 6" of snow and now we are getting sleet.  We never have weather like this and we are not prepared.  I am very grateful that this mare is here.  Snowflake may still be a bit chilly, but she's far warmer than she might have been.  We may have to hang some blankets on the walls tonight to block the bitter drafts.  We are just not equipped for this.

Millie  - the dog...it's not uncommon for the owner to take the pups and dry them and tend to them while the next pup is coming.  I've seen this a few times...we are new to dog breeding and had our first litter in April of last year.  We will have another the first week of March.  So in addition to 27 mares we will have a dog to whelp.  We just don't have enough to do. LOL  Oh - count on mares has increased by 5 to 32 mares.

Thank you Heather for putting this on you turbe so those of us that missed it could watch. I got out of bed at 7am (here in the UK) and as always put on pc to check on Tilly, she was standing by her hay rack and I thought still no foal and then this wobbly little thing came from behind her, so cute. She was still struggling to walk so hadn't missed it by much. Just watch re run and have to say congratulations Tilly, you have a beautiful daughter
