This page is dedicated to watching the mares on Mare Stare, starting with the mini donkeys at Half Ass Acres. But be warned....it is highly addictive.

Thank you. I was hoping to get one of the blankets off of the filly "Snowflake" but she is still doing a bit of shivering so I wont' chance it. We have 4 - 6" of snow and now we are getting sleet. We never have weather like this and we are not prepared. I am very grateful that this mare is here. Snowflake may still be a bit chilly, but she's far warmer than she might have been. We may have to hang some blankets on the walls tonight to block the bitter drafts. We are just not equipped for this.
Millie - the dog...it's not uncommon for the owner to take the pups and dry them and tend to them while the next pup is coming. I've seen this a few times...we are new to dog breeding and had our first litter in April of last year. We will have another the first week of March. So in addition to 27 mares we will have a dog to whelp. We just don't have enough to do. LOL Oh - count on mares has increased by 5 to 32 mares.
*Know* :/
I no nothing of puppy births, but am wondering why the mum hasn't got her puupies with her? Are they ok? Hope so.
congratulations!! she is a beautiful little filly...glad to see all went well!
and thank you for sharing it because I missed it yesterday! glad that I got a chance to see the video!!!
