She sure did look experienced!  Like she does it all the time so that why I thought maybe she was the vet.  Then I wondered how the vet got there so fast........

Violet my daughter and I deliver all the foals.  We take turns according to the mare.  There are certain ones that I want to do and certain ones that she wants to do.  Shannon was the one that delivered this filly.  We have been delivering for seven years :)

Who assisted with her birth?  I was just wondering if it was a vet or a very experienced other person.  Great job BTW :D.

I can't thank all of you enough for being part of this event.  I was beginning to wonder if she would ever foal LOL and yes, she had me a bit concerned the longer she waited when all tests said go.  We are grateful for an easy foaling.

Tilly and her filly (hopefully Silent Snowfall aka Crystal or something) are doing very well.  We had to help with nursing but I think she has it down now.  She has done more rolling than I like to see, but I think her top blanket is a bit tight so we'll remove that today and monitor her to see if she's still warm.  It's a very wooly blanket underneath.  I hate to remove it but we will probably need something to put on her tonight as well, so she needs to spend some time without one of them.

Weather here is HORRIBLE - we has snow and more coming. The entire state is about shut down because we are not equipped for this type of weather.  Hopefully we will not lose power.
