I'm addicted to this now! I can't wait to see her foal! Perhaps a little walk in hand would move things along, change of scenery for her and some fresh air? Lovely little pony! :)

I agree Heather, typically at this stage, she will be happier being pampered in her stall.  If we let a mare out this close to foaling, she might go out in the pasture to nibble on some grass but turns around & wants to come right back in..lol  They want their breakfast & dinner ON TIME.. Not 5 mins late, that is absolutely unacceptable!!!  So funny!  Was curious did you take the straw out for any particular reason & what did the test strips read last night?

So the waiting game continues... She still has a good appetite, munching away! x

I looked at this page for a second and I thought it was her foal, I thought I had missed it while I was sitting right here, haha. :)

A miniature horse only requires 1/4 of an acre, at least that is what research shows.  I recommend more than that, but they don't need alot of room.

Awww Chantilly loves that cat. so sweet to watch her being so gentle with it.

She's adorable, I wish I could have a horse or pony or anything like that, lol, we only have 3 acres and that is not enough to keep a horse on and I won't board it, lol. :)

Chantilly Lace is perfectly happy in her stall.  When the door is open she is normally still standing quietly in her stall, or just outside the door.  She is not an active mare regardless of whether she is in or out.  She is doing just fine :)
