Love the cat.  It is so affectionate; it (she/he) went into stall and Chantilly let it rub her face.  What sweeties they both are.

Too funny.. Typical horse huh?? make a liar out of you..;)  One of my mares will do that too, even when she's not heavy in foal, she'll go to get up & while she's in the process I'll see her do that, back & forth, funny to watch.. like you know while I'm here might as well get a good scratch..lol  I suppose some are just smart like that..  I can imagine you are worn out, nice that you have so many watching for you!!  And like you said, this is just the beginning!!  I didn't see her lay down for long period last night, she was much more restless than the night before, much more tail swishing too.. hang in there & get the pot of coffee on!!! ;)

Bobbie the cam has only been live to the public since New Year's.  :)

She now has wax Michelle. LOL Just when you ask if she has wax and I tell you ours don't always get it...she has LOTS of wax and her bag is full.  Hoping it won't be much longer. I know she's miserable.  Also, it's not unusual for our mares to dog sit and scratch their bag/belly on the ground when they've been down or rolling.  Alot of people think they have a problem getting up, but usually it's just scratching.  I did not see what she did last night, so not sure what it was.  I just know I'm tired and foaling season has just begun.  Someone send me coffee!!!  Lots of cream LOL

Did you all see her last night try to get up?  Her back end is numbing, which is one of the last signs.. she had a bit of a hard time getting her back legs in position, was sitting like a dog for a second..

her hips have really widened and her dock is starting to buldge and soften. Last night she had some really good preliminary contractions. I think she's getting that foal set in the right position. It's hard to tell from this angle if her vulva is softened all the way but she's doing her best.

From this angle she looks positively huge!  I think she is as wide as she is tall...lol.

It won't be much longer, all the signs are there.. I give her a day or two.. just my guess..:)  Really thinking it has to be tonight but then again I thought that last night..lol

Maybe she's just really fat, because all I've seen her do is eat for the last three days! :) Watching and waiting ...

How on earth can she find room inside herself to pack away food???!!!!!
