clocking in from the UK here - just been made redundant, so will have plenty of time for mare staring.  Some of you may know me as Digger from the Sawyer Creek boards.

LOL You are welcome to be an honorary "God Mother"  We normally call those that watch and become addicted, "aunties".  I am grateful to have you watching.

I refuse to admit to any addiction (*grinning*), but after all these days of watching I really feel I have earned the title of Honorary Godmother.  How else could I explain my concern?????

Vet is monitoring her and feels she's doing fine.  Her neighbor is another mare that came in with her and lost her foal last week. (bad position)  She has recovered now and will be turned out tomorrow and a new mare will take her place to keep Chantilly company.

I'm going to pick up on what another addict mentioned earlier -- would it be of any help to take her for a walk?  That's what the OB docs used to recommend back in the olden days for pregnant humans, maybe that's changed.  I'm just concerned she's going to burst.

I missed my mare foaling in 2010 (everyone did, who knew a maiden could deliver in about 10 minutes), so, I'm hoping to catch one of the little ones.  It is terribly addictive.  I wish I'd been able to have a camera on our girl...

LOL That's probably what she's thinking too!!
