Yes, she poked her eyelid, then jerked back and pulled it - complete rip, lucky she didn't do any damage to her eye.

Chantilly's foal is weak..we need to bottle feed him every 2 hours so you will see us down there through the night. Prayers are appreciated as always. He is so fragile...

Ladybug is ready to foal. REMINDER - this mare is NOT very handleable and we will likely give her very little assistance. Believe it or not, she's much better than she was when she arrived. However, when protective mom mode kicks in - that could be another story all together.

The vet is on her way - I swear she needs a room - Lil Bit (cam #2 top right) tore her eyelid today, so she needs some attention. Ladybug is still testing ready and should foal tonight....that cam may go private, we shall see.

While the vet is here we will have her check the little guy's legs. Shannon re-wrapped one leg earlier today because the bandages had slipped. He's been nursing and has gotten up and down pretty well on his own despite the splints, but I'm still a worrier and as frail as he is, he could crash very quickly.

Many thanks to all who have been monitoring him.

Who is that on the botton Cam? Lady Bug? I saw you guys in there with her, is she next? I haven't been on for a while, I've missed everything. Worked Relay For Life today, and raised a bunch of money for the American Cancer Society. Woo Hoo! Things are setteled a little, now I can get back to my Mare Stare!

This little guy is so cute as he rolls on his back and stretches.
Is he getting enough Br-Lunch-Din and snacks?
