Chantilly had a colt that is approximately 10# and is a preemie. His legs are splinted because he is back in the knees and they need to heal properly. He has some issues getting up but is doing well and is able to get up on his own pretty well...however if you see him down for 2 hours or more please feel free to call our numbers at the top of this page. We are trying to monitor him closely but we do miss things. Thanks so much!!

The baby is so cute to watch but i bet alot of long hrs last night trying to get her/him to nurse and learn to get up with the splints on. Was the foal born with crooket knees is that why they are splinted. I bought a filly yrs ago and when she was young she had her one leg splinted. I love watching the moms and the little ones so cute. I hope all works out for the new baby and her/him legs are okay and that they out grow what evers wrong. Congrats ladies
