Hi everyone!

Are any of you from the uk or Europe? So many people seem to be from USA round here, or is that just the people I've chatted too?

Anyway, I really recomend a guy called Paul Hunting. He works on finding the true self, which us humans have a habbit of hiding behind our egos and then forgetting. So basically he helps people rediscover their true self, and then communicate and connect to horses through that, in the same kind of way as people like Klaus Hempfling!

I'm off to do a course with Paul from 21st to 23rd August (my birthday!) I'll let you know how it goes! x

I am also interested in Chris Irwin and have used PonyBoy ideas.

John Lyons teachings have been with me the longest. I appreciate that he makes everything so do-able and easy to understand. I have had horses for 31 years.

I am new here also and love hearing about all natural trainers as well. Just finished an incredible 4 day clinic with my favorite clinician, Josh Nichol, who is continually pushing me forward and encouraging me to become the best horseman I can be.

Hi everyone, I am brand new to Barnmice and this seems like the perfect group for me to join first. I am studying Equine Sports Therapy right now and have been reading some wonderful books. How to Think Like a Horse by Cherry Hill is wonderful. Lots of the info is the basics, but anyone looking to enhance the bond with their horse through the horse's eyes would benefit from this read.

I would like to now if there are any natrual horse trainers in my area Holt MO. About a hour out of Kansas City. Any help in finding one would be great. Thanks

Hello, wanted to let you Natural Horsemanship fans know that we are hosting a clinic with Parelli 3 star instructor, Fawn Anderson. It will run from August 14-17, 2009 at Dayspring Ranch near Merritt, BC (about a 3 hour drive from Vancouver). Details are listed under events on this site. If you or anyone you know is interested, please let us know as there are only 8 spots available. If you would like to take your relationship with your horse to the next level this is the event for you!

My trainer spent a year with Ray Hunt, so I feel blessed to be able to learn so much of what he had to teach. I spend allot of time focused on my horses mind, it has helped our relationship so much.

I noticed in the news section the other day that Ray Hunt died recently. What a pioneer. I was living in BC and saw a poster for a five day trip to the Gang Ranch to ride with Ray Hunt. I will forever regret not making that happen!

Like Shirley, I have done clinics with Pat Parelli and his students and it has really helped with communication and my fear issues. I am also a fan of Chris Irwin.
