Hey, u guys probably think this is REALLY</</b>i> wierd, but have any of u ever seen Demons or phantoms? I think I have! What freaked me out the most and made me run so fast is that, wen I looked at the 1 dog, it had red eyes and black smoke behind it! If I was human, I would have SCREAMED! I just neighed and screamed in horse! Wierd hey! But I can swear my life it was real! I physically saw it! :(

I HATE Horse flies! Yeah! It was pretty freaky!
Maybe their putting a saddle on u? It aint so bad after u get used 2 it! Hey, be like black beauty and just always try ur best! (Although u probably already do behave and are black AND a beauty and all!) ;) But I do agree, humans ARE puzzling creatures! lol! I like apples 2!

Whoa, it's hot! On hot, sunny days like this it sure is hard to be a black horse! I have been spending time in the run-in shed, or under the trees... but the yummy grass has been tempting me out into the sun. The horse flies don't seem to mind the sun, there are lots of them out now. Bzzzzzz!

I'm glad that I only have to worry about flies.... people and dogs chasing me would be really scary. I'm glad that you are OK Firestorm!

Every few days the humans put a weird thing on my back, walk me around in it, mutter a bit, and do it again with a different one a few days later. I don't know what they are up to... humans are puzzling creatures.

My human brought me some sample treats that she got at a riding clinic... they were a lot like muffins. She went on about how good they smelled, I think that she wanted to eat them. She should have... I don't like muffin type treats myself so I spit it out. I think that my human thought that I dropped it because she tried to give it to me again. Blech. She eventually got the idea though. I think that she finally realises that nice crispy apples are my favourite treat. Mmm, apples.... yummy!

I would have kicked them but was 2 busy galloping and trying not 2 trip that I was at the point of thinking if I kicked I would get hurt and not them, so... :( Oh well!

Lucky! Yesterday I galloped my heart out for an hour (with breaks of course!) It was fun! My human and I were riding in the forest, when these guys with knives and their dogs just chased us. I spooked but my human stayed on and the dogs got hold of my leg! So the chase began. I jumped, stumbled, got up and galloped on. I was shaken but not stirred and all I have is a bit of a mark from the teeth!
SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o

Well, I guess everyone's been very busy out sunning themselves because it's very quiet in our little discussion group right now.

I had a totally quiet day yesterday. Mom was out volunteering at the Windreach International Para-Dressage competition so I got to laze in the sun in the company of my buddy, Sam. I thought she would drop by after on her way home, but I guess she was too tired. The birds tell me it didn't end until 6:30 p.m. and I imagine that she didn't get home until nearly 7:30. That's okay ... we'll have a nice reunion today. Our rides are going very well. I have a feeling mom will be coming to the barn inspired today. :-)
