I love the penning and sorting. Rodeo season is starting in Texas and I will be at the San Antonio rodeo in February hoping to win a buckle!

Actually, that is me and my girl, Lady, at a schooling show. First place in Western pleasure equitation! We won second in team penning at the Houston Rodeo in the #3 Draw! Since Houston is my hometown, it was quite a thrill--Lady got a new headstall…

- I started riding about 7 years ago when my husband gave me 5 private riding lessons. I am sure he thought he would scratch that itch and that would be the end of it. I now compete in team penning and ranch sorting with a great group of people at Signal Hill Ranch owned by Kathy and Eddie Slack. I have a 13 year old mare, Lady and she is fabulous
