- A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
- I live with my family on a 50-acre farm near Barrie, Ontario (north of Toronto) with nine of our own horses and 9 boarders. We run a therapeutic riding program for kids and adults with special needs. Obviously, therapeutic riding is one of my "horse passions." Another one is the Friesian horse. I am lucky enough to own three, the newest addition being a two-year-old filly that we plan to breed once she is older. I also own a Canadian horse, which is a wonderful breed also. To support all this, I work at Georgian College teaching in the business program. I have also do some freelance writing, and have recently completed a book about my experiences in setting up our therapeutic riding program and life with horses in general.
