Gracie is our awesome blossom. So gentle and sweet. Although not as refined and delicate as our thoroughbred, she is the one we gush over. Everyone loves her as she is such a ham. I will always own a standardbred.

- Yep, I've always heard they weren't bred for beauty but stamina!!! Some people I meet on trails mistake him for a Thoroughbred, alot of folks don't know the Standardbred breed. Standardbred's come from the Thoroughbred, did you know? Long history there with these guys! My guy does have that "huge" head, but it's what I'm use to now. When I do get on someone's little Arabian or Quarter horse, it's weird. Your two are beautiful...........

- Lynn, I agree with your words. Have owned & loved my Standardbred for 9 years now. Didn't really know to much about the breed till then, right away I joined SPHO of Fla. to know other lovers of the breed & promote the breed here in Florida. The breed is still not well know down here. Two of the clubs horses were invited to attend last years World Equestrian Games!!! It was the best, our president & other members were able to go to Kentucky also. There are videos out of the routine, one Bay & one Grey Standardbred! So cool, I think you can find it on youtube also.......
