A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
Muriel Chestnut has been a Classical Dressage coach for over 25 yrs. Having been involved in the horse industry in many aspects including apprentice Saddle Maker with Schleese Saddlery, managing a top dressage stable, owning and managing her own first class facility Chestnut Equestrian Centre in the '90's, organizing and running many dressage competitions as well as assisting with the Ontario and Canadian Dressage Championships. Muriel has also sat on the board of Toronto, Huronia and Caledon CADORAs and the Barrie Agricultural Society. In the '80's Muriel was twice the recipient of funding through CADORA's Talent Identification Program, which allowed her to participate in clinics with top clinicians.

Muriel has always had a love for the Iberian horse and imported the outstanding PRE stallion SOBERBIO XII from Spain in 2005 as a 4 yr. old. SOBERBIO XII is the ONLY son of EBANISTO - Champion of Spain - in Canada and is uniquely all dressage bloodlines (Escalera and Guardiola). SOBERBIO XII is the top PRE breeding stallion offered in Canada!

Recently Muriel has initiated a business to import more quality "Schoolmaster" Andalusians as well as top FEI competitive young stock. If you are serious about your riding education or competitive edge - it's time to consider a Schoolmaster! Trained horses are available in almost any price range.
Top young horses are selected from high profile breeders and trainers and can be custom selected to suit all needs.

I love the philosophy of his teaching and the harmonious intention that is paramount with all his teaching! I also attended this year, a clinic with one of his graduate student from his School of Lightness and she was fantastic as well! We need more clinicians like this! And we need our "top rider" to attend them!! I'm just…

Thank you for your info on the Guardiola bloodlines. I was able to look up the Juan Guardiola Ranch and found some more info. My horses have Rebote II, Poseida II, Nevado III, And Barrilla in their bloodlines.  We are going to go look at a filly that is half Guardiola and half Cardenas. I would prefer a pure Guardiola though. I am excited to find out that you are a dressage instuctor. I have the opinion that if you can ride dressage you can ride anything. I look forward to conversing with you. Let me know if you have anymore info on the Guardiola line. Thanks
