My husband and I are Dairy farmers in Otago ,NZ. I have two sons, Kerrod is 19 and is studying civil engineering and Shayle is 15 and is in yr 11 at high School.
Shayle and I both ride. Shayle competes in all pony club events but is concentrating on Eventing at 95cm (training level) at present.
I have a 4yr old paint gelding that has recently been started under saddle.

we have 15 horses here at the moment, school horse as well as compitition ones. keeps me out of the pub!! cliped three today, will clip three more next week. it just is very constant isnt it!!
Hi Leah, I went to the State Champs (eventing ) last weekend. Absolute disaster!!! Had more stops xc than I care to remember, put my tail between legs and went home. Have some Showjumping outings comeing up , no more events till august for me. Qld sounds like it was nice. We are have some Qld weather here at the moment, no rain at all , very late start to the season. I heading to Qld in Oct for a EA seminar for three days ( coach thing)
Hi Leah, the trans tasman sounds fun. I've been involved with the ones over here at the Adelaide Horse Trials in previous years. Not as a rider though, just on the organizing commitee.
that is so cool what do you ride in?my sisters have their own ponies and i ride them alot!!!i ride in dressage and enjoy hacking in the field and the ponies love galloping in open spaces!Alcaponie is a 7 year old pony and is a dapple gray and is 14.2 hands and does dressage and he is an arabian/quarter horse/percheron cross.Mimi is a really dark bay who looks almost black and is 6 years old and is 14.1 and 1/2 hands she is a thouroughbred/dutch warmblood who loves to go she is doing dressage right now but will soon be training for eventing!!!Shelby is really pretty!!!!!
